Ironmen’s 4/19/2009

At our April 19th Ironmen’s Fellowship we set the “bar” high in terms of our personal and group expectations.  Our Ironmen’s Ministry Director,  Josh Redmond set the tone at the very beginning by taking us around the room for a time of personal “thanksgiving”.  We have adopted Prov. 27:17Prov. 27:17

WP-Bible plugin as our “Men’s Bible Standard” and purposed to Reach in,  Reach out, and hold one another accountable for spiritual involvement and growth.  Along with that, we had a great study of Luke 9:57Luke 9:57

WP-Bible plugin wherein we learned what it means to be a “whithersoever” follower of Christ.  Ray Fetty brought the study and minced no words in presenting our Lord’s characterization of a true “follower”.
And, following the study and testimonies,  we enjoyed (immensely) our especially prepared lasagna dinner – and, BOY, did we enjoy it.  Dave Rentz, chef officianado and long time auto mechanic, out performed himself. Emeril, Rachel Ray, Guy, nor Tyler could have matched the dinner.  Of course, it doesn’t take much to please us.
Our next meeting is scheduled for May 31st at 5 PM.  Everyone is invited!
